Helen Holder of Hewlett-Packard will be speaking on Nov 21st as part of the Green Chemistry Seminar Series

As Corporate Materials Selection Manager at HP, she evaluates and qualifies materials for use in products. She has introduced environmental and human health criteria to complement traditional functional, safety, and reliability requirements for materials selection. Helen was was recently invited to speak at the National Academy of Science workshop “Applying 21st Century Toxicology to Green Chemical and Material Design” and has great experience using the tenets of green chemistry to make product materials selection decisions every day. She received her Bachelor of Science from MIT, and her Master of Science from the University of California at Berkeley, where she was an HP Resident Fellow.

The seminar will take place Monday Nov. 21st  from 4-5 pm in 180 Tan Hall.
