BCGC Board Member and the Gerald E.K. Branch Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at UC Berkeley Robert G. Bergman has won Israel’s highest award for science and the arts. The Wolf Prize in Chemistry has been awarded in recognition of his discovery of the activation of C-H bonds of hydrocarbons by soluble transition metal complexes. He and the other award recipients will be honored at a ceremony at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, in June.
Congratulations, Bob!
