SAGE IGERT Fellowship

The SAGE IGERT Fellowship at BCGC supported UC Berkeley graduate students conducting research related to green chemistry and green energy. The fellowship began in 2013, concluded in 2018, and has supported nineteen trainees who continue to do amazing green work on campus and beyond.

The fellowship included two full years of funding, mentorship, and the opportunity to collaborate with students and faculty from a diverse group of departments united around common research interests.

Read profiles of our current and former SAGE fellows here.

We have welcomed applicants from any UC Berkeley department, supporting trainees from public health, engineering, architecture, chemistry, and more. Contact BCGC executive director Tom McKeag at tmckeag@berkeley.edu with any fellowship-related questions.

THE SAGE IGERT FELLOWSHIP HAS CONCLUDED AND WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.
