This Berkeley Changemaker course is a project-based class that partners students with companies, non-profits, community groups, and government agencies that are interested in adopting safer, greener chemistry for their products and processes. The course is designed to give students a foundation in the principles of green chemistry by providing a real-world green chemistry challenge that students will work to solve throughout the semester. Students have the opportunity to meet and work with multiple on and off campus partners, including industry, non-profit, and government collaborators, via guest lectures and a final student presentation given to a broad audience of BCGC partners.
