Mia is a third year Bioengineering and Business Administration undergraduate student. Her professional interests include applying biomimicry, synthetic biology, and metabolic engineering to design sustainable solutions. In her Greener Partnerships internship, Mia is working with the USDA and the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens to develop a plant-based biodegradable adhesive for PLU stickers.
